Welcome to WonderLab Co. By booking, attending or participating in any WonderLab Co. program, workshop, event or activity, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Bookings
Bookings are confirmed only once full payment has been received.
Places are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
WonderLab Co. reserves the right to refuse, cancel or reschedule bookings where necessary due to operational requirements, venue availability, safety concerns or insufficient participant numbers.
2. Program Eligibility
WonderLab Co. programs are designed for children within the advertised age range.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring their child meets the age requirements and is capable of participating in the activities offered.
3. Drop-Off and Collection
WonderLab Co. operates as a supervised drop-and-go program.
Parents or guardians are responsible for:
Signing children in at the beginning of the session
Providing accurate emergency contact information
Collecting children promptly at the conclusion of the session
Children will only be released to a parent, guardian or authorised person nominated during registration unless alternative arrangements have been approved in advance.
4. Medical Information and Allergies
Parents and guardians must provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding:
Medical conditions
Allergies
Additional support needs
Emergency contacts
WonderLab Co. will take reasonable steps to provide a safe and inclusive environment but cannot guarantee an allergen-free venue.
Parents remain responsible for ensuring any required medication is supplied, clearly labelled and accompanied by appropriate instructions.
5. Emergency Medical Treatment
In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency, WonderLab Co. may seek medical treatment for a participant where a parent, guardian or emergency contact cannot be reached.
Any costs associated with medical treatment remain the responsibility of the parent or guardian.
6. Behaviour Expectations
WonderLab Co. is committed to providing a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all participants.
Children are expected to:
Follow facilitator instructions
Treat others respectfully
Participate safely in activities
Respect venue property and equipment
Where a participant's behaviour places themselves, other participants or facilitators at risk, WonderLab Co. reserves the right to contact a parent or guardian for immediate collection.
Refunds will not be provided in these circumstances.
7. Photography and Media
Photographs and videos may occasionally be taken during programs and events.
Parents and guardians will be asked to provide or decline consent separately during the registration process.
Children whose parents or guardians do not provide consent will not be intentionally featured in promotional materials.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
Participant Cancellations
More than 7 days before the event: Full refund.
Between 3 and 7 days before the event: Credit toward a future WonderLab Co. program.
Less than 72 hours before the event: No refund unless required by Australian Consumer Law.
Program Cancellations
If WonderLab Co. cancels a program due to unforeseen circumstances, venue issues, facilitator illness or insufficient participant numbers, participants will be offered:
A full refund; or
A transfer to an alternative session where available.
9. Program and Venue Changes
Activities advertised are intended as a guide only.
WonderLab Co. reserves the right to modify activities, schedules, facilitators, venues and program content where necessary due to weather conditions, safety requirements, participant needs or operational circumstances.
Where a venue change is required, participants will be notified as soon as reasonably practicable.
10. Illness
Children who are unwell should not attend WonderLab Co. programs.
WonderLab Co. reserves the right to refuse attendance to any participant displaying symptoms of contagious illness where attendance may impact the wellbeing of others.
11. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their personal belongings.
WonderLab Co. accepts no responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged items brought to a program or event.
12. Limitation of Liability
While reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment, participation in creative, educational and recreational activities carries inherent risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WonderLab Co. is not liable for:
Loss of personal property
Injuries resulting from participation in activities where reasonable care has been exercised
Circumstances beyond its reasonable control
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
13. Privacy
Personal information collected through registrations, bookings and enquiries is handled in accordance with the WonderLab Co. Privacy Policy.
By registering for a program, parents and guardians consent to the collection and use of information required to administer the program and ensure participant safety.
